Brisbane Printing History

Bros Nilsson Printco is a family owned and operated business.

4 Generations of Nilsson’s have been involved in the family printing business since 1959, when our father ( Tim Nilsson ) started his printing business at Milton.

A stable business, originally operating out of the inner city suburb of Milton, the 1974 floods forced a move to the north Brisbane suburb of Geebung, where Bros Nilsson Printco will continues to operate today.

Providing reliable , quality service has been the foundation of the business that our customers have come to expect and enjoy. We aim to have a small business feel , with big business capabilities.

Since Dad eased away from the day to day operations of the business in 2001, my brothers Ron, Gary and Bob have been leading the way. With over one hundred years of printing experience between them , they have met the challenges of a changing industry.

As we move forward, I am privileged to be given the reigns to the “family business”. Gary and Bob will continue to be major resources in the day to day operations. Even though after thirty years, Ron won’t be here anymore, he will be part of the operation in an advisory role.

Community

Mainly through sport and community groups, our family members have always been heavily involved and supportive of the local community. This has also been true for our business and it is reflected by the fact most of our customers have historically come through relationships established in the local community groups.

As a business and individually, we have enjoyed sponsoring and supporting individuals develop their personal and professional careers. As well as supporting local teams and groups, we have also supported state and national teams in various ways.

We hope to continue this into the future as different opportunities arise.
